Aaaaaaaand CUT!! As of July 29th at 4:15 p.m., filming for "The Possum" music video in Nashville has wrapped up! Y'all, this video couldn't have went any smoother. Everything literally fell into place like it was meant to happen. Like God said, "Do this". Myself, my husband, my Daddy, my video producer and his assistant (Supi Boonaphai and Paul) and all of our clothes, guitar, cameras, and equipment left Stuttgart on July 28th at 7:15 pm bound for Nashville. The road to Nashville was smooth up until an hour outside of Music City. We hit a stand still road block. I just knew we weren't going to make it. I had an appearance lined up for Blake Shelton's new bar on Broadway called Ol Red. Thanks to my good friend Chad Bearden, he arranged for me to take the stage with him to sing a song for the video shoot. Well luckily the road block only lasted about 20 minutes. We pulled into Nashville about 1:00 am Sunday morning. Got parked on Broadway, and stepped foot into Ol Red about 1:15 am. My husband spoke with Chad between songs to let him know we made it, then I took the stage at approx 1:30 am. The crowd was so great and welcoming. I absolutely loved it. Supi got some great shots and videos too. After I got off stage, Chad performed 2 more songs then wrapped up for the night. I'm telling y'all it couldn't have been any closer of a call, but we made it happen!! Finally got checked into the hotel about 3:30 am and caught some shut eye. Woke up at 8:30 am and started all over. These guys are troopers!! We arrived at The George Jones Museum and luckily we were the only group in there! We basically had the run of the place. Once we finished in the museum, we went down stairs to grab a bite to eat. There were a couple musicians doing an acoustic set in the eating area. My husband talked to them to see if i could perform my song and they said yes! Turns out one of the musicians was a sweet girl from Arkansas named Madison Nolan from El Dorado, (Go check her out btw!). My video producer got some amazing footage while there too! After that was done, we left The George Jones en route to his graveside to get some more footage. Again, we were the only ones there! Got some more incredible scenes and footage (Pictures below article!). Once we wrapped up there, we were Arkansas bound. I'm telling y'all, everything just fell into place so perfect for this, it's like it was meant to happen! Now we're just waiting on Supi to get it all edited and produced! Be checking back here and on my Facebook page (Anna Brinker Music) for the music video and song! We'll be releasing it on August 15th! Thank y'all so much for your love and support! Means the world to me!
These pictures were taken at The George Jones Museum and at George Jones' Grave Site.
So excited to announce that thanks to some super supportive, loving friends and family, that I get to make a music video for my debut single, "The Possum". My husband, my daddy, Supi from Supi Photography, and I are set to head to Nashville on the 28th to film this video. We plan on filming and doing photos at the George Jones Museum, various bars throughout downtown Nashville, and wrapping up at George Jones's grave site. If you haven't ever seen Supi's pictures and wedding videos, you have no idea what your'e missing. Check him out on Facebook at Supi Photography. When you see his wedding videos, then you will know how great this video is going to turn out. I and so excited and CANNOT wait for ya'll to see this. Again, thank you so much to the ones who are making all this possible. You know who you are and I cannot say thank you enough!
It all started on Memorial Day weekend. My husband and I were in Bald Knob, Arkansas visiting my Daddy for his Birthday. While we were there, my Daddy opened one of his many song notebooks and flipped it to a certain page. He had my husband and I read it. Immediately, it nailed my heart strings. I loved it. I knew right then and there I had to make it into a song. I played around with it the following weeks. My husband wrote a verse, my Daddy wrote a chorus, I changed some words and added some music to it. Next thing you know, I had a complete song. I posted it onto my Facebook page of Anna Brinker Music and the people LOVED it! Shortly after, we found this great studio in Central City, Arkansas called Dillon's Garage. Got in contact with them to get things going, and within no time they had a music track recorded and ready for me. So perfect! I couldn't have imagined anything sounding sweeter or more true country than this song. My next step was to get up there and record the lyrics. I did just that, and in no time the song was ready! 100% Country Music if I've ever heard it! The song is set to begin pre-sale on July 23rd and set to release to the public and all digital music outlets and August 15th. I absolutely cannot wait for y'all to hear this. You're going to love it!
